Summer Reading Program 2016

1. List the library books you read this summer in your log.
2. Read books that are at your reading level.
3. Bring your log booklet to the library each week beginning the week of June 27th to receive a prize and a ticket that will be good for both the weekly drawing and the grand prize drawing.   For every 5 books you read, you will receive 1 extra ticket.  
4. Find the hidden creature each week in the children’s room to earn 1 additional weekly/grand prize drawing ticket each week.
5. If you reach the goal of reading 100 books you will be featured on a Summer Super Star READ poster and will receive your own copy of the poster.
6. The last day to qualify for the grand prize drawing is August 13.

 

1.    The Little Runners Club is for children age 2 and younger.
2.    Each week complete two early literacy activities from the log booklet and bring your booklet to the library to receive stickers for those activities, a small prize, and a ticket that will be good for both the weekly drawing and the grand prize drawing.
3.    Upon completion of the program you may select a board book.

 

1.    Each week a silhouette of a character from a children’s book will be posted on the bulletin board and here on the website.  Fill out the entry form and submit your guess to the summer reading desk.
2.    All entries containing the correct answer will be entered into a drawing to be held at the end of the summer reading program.
