Teen Makers will be led through cosplay basics in this three-part series. First, we'll design and build costume elements. Then we'll make faux weapons for our characters. And finally, we'll add final details and learn to take amazing green-screen photos.

For ages 5-11. Young scientists will discover the exciting science of paleontology as they excavate and assemble complete skeletal replicas from simulated "fossilized" rock. Dig for T-Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Velociraptors, Brachiosaurus, and ancient sea creatures, and more! Make fossilized plaster replicas of dinosaur teeth, claws, trilobites, and ancient sea creatures. Sort, classify, and take home a variety of fossilized shark teeth.  Participants will take home unearthed treasures, fossilized shark teeth, and more.

We'll put out a forest fire, paddle through rapids, drop over a waterfall and hike through a dark, scary cave!  We'll even experience a Thunderstorm, right here in the library!  Presented by Classroom Adventure Stories with Don Dougherty!  Registration is required.
