We'll explore the science and engineering of the Native Americans. After learning about the different conditions prominent tribes across North America encountered, we'll test out different engineering principles they used to create their homes. Then we'll use our knowledge to recreate different Native American dwellings or imagine what they would build if they were exploring new frontiers like Mars! For ages 5 to 12.

Over the 4 part course, kids will learn about the Chinese writing system, write their name in Chinese characters, pick up basic conversational phrases, and even paint on fans! Please attend all sessions if possible. For kids ages 5-12.Presented by Ms. Fang Xiao, a language teacher from China who is here through a grant for the US State Department.

Or will you make a mashup of different types and invent something totally new?Get creative and make your own fun game! This a great program to do with a friend or family member to create a special keepsake.Ages 7-18. Children 8 and under may need assistance from a parent or older sibling. Please register all those who attend.
