Even when our buildings are closed, the Warren County Library offers downloadable and streaming content to meet your educational and recreational needs. With an internet connection, a valid library barcode, and your PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number), the services below are available 24/7. E-books & Audiobooks

Cloud Library is the incredibly simple way to access free e-books right on your smart phones, tablets, or computers. Our collection includes a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction for kids, teens, and adults. For most Android and Apple devices, it's as simple as downloading the free app, plugging in your library barcode and PIN, and selecting a book to read. Check out our collection here. Need help with installation? Find and install your app via the Cloud Library site. The site also provides very clear instructions and videos. And you can always call (908-475-6322) for personalized assistance. Since Barnes & Nobel discontinued the Nook App Store, older Nooks are supported only as e-readers in conjunction with the Cloud Library App for Windows or Mac PCs. Hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone!  Set up a free account with your library card.  You can check out a maximum of five items per month.  Loan periods for movies and TV are three days, music are seven days and e-book and e-audiobooks are for twenty-one days.


Interactive Books for Children

Tumblebooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. There are also videos, audiobooks, and fun games. 

Capstone Ebooks are interactive ebooks for elementary age children. The books cover a variety of subjects, genres, and reading levels. Each book is supported by spoken-word audion making them perfect for beginning readers, struggling readers, and ESL students.

 Smart Apple Ebooks cover a variety of topics including biographies, early literacy, geography, and science and technology. These books are geared towards students in kindergarten through 5th grade.



Digital Magazines

Use Flipster to read popular digital magazines on your tablet, phone, or computer. Flipster allows readers to flip through pages that are identical to the print magazines. For mobile users, download the Flipster app from your app store.
