Discover the elements of game design, with special emphasis on table top games.  This program will draw on some requirements necessary to complete the Game Design merit badge for the Boy Scouts of America. Session 1: Gaming terminology, analysis and playing tile and dice games.Session 2: Reviewing intellectual property in games, analysis and playing board and card games.Session 3: Analysis of sports versus party games.Session 4: Analysis of role-playing games and miniature board games.

Northeast Branch (Independence)

The Northeast Branch first opened in February of 1993. In November 2009, the Warren County Freeholders purchased the Best Fruit Farm Building as the future home of the branch. After a year of renovations, in May 2011, staff and a group of 153 volunteers moved the branch to our new location. The new facility has become a community center with its meeting rooms, public access computers, and quiet reading area. We strive to offer programs of interest to both children and adults as well as being a focal point for community interaction.
