Fall back into the new school year and learn how author Jen Epstein uses humor to ward off her biggest fears! Jen will be at the Northeast Branch for a reading from her book Don't Get Too Excited. There will be a Q&A as well as a book signing. Don't Get Too Excited is about overcoming anxiety, irrational fears, and OCD.In today's world we all experience worries and anxiety, but how do we cope with our anxiety and practice self-care? Our collective struggles may be more common than you think.

Northeast Branch (Independence)

The Northeast Branch first opened in February of 1993. In November 2009, the Warren County Freeholders purchased the Best Fruit Farm Building as the future home of the branch. After a year of renovations, in May 2011, staff and a group of 153 volunteers moved the branch to our new location. The new facility has become a community center with its meeting rooms, public access computers, and quiet reading area. We strive to offer programs of interest to both children and adults as well as being a focal point for community interaction.
