Open-ended discovery as we build with Legos and more. Designed for homeschoolers 5+ and their parents. Registration required.Older students can use Tinkercad to use computer-aided design to make Lego creations or work on more complex mechanized lego projects. Back by popular demand, we're doing a second round of Chinese Brush Painting! Join Ms. Fang Xiao as she teaches us about the ancient art of Chinese Brush Painting. We'll use rice paper, different patterns, and special brushes to create beautiful and authentic works of art. For ages 8 and up. Please register.

Learn the art and science of papermaking in this hands-on Earth Day activity. We'll recycle newspaper from the library to create our own handmade paper, embellished with flowers and herbs. Lots of messy science fun. Please dress appropriately.Ages 5+ Children under 8 must have a parent. Registration required.

For ages 9-17. Join the Northeast Branch for another great tween lock-in. We will be having an Easter Egg hunt -- scramble through the library and see how many eggs you can collect! In honor of Earth Day, we will be creating seed bombs. Pizza will be served! We will be watching Back to the Future (1985, PG, 1 h 56 min.) Join us in the Makerspace to work on your fiber and fabric arts, scrapbooking, paper arts, painting, jewelry making and more. We have basic supplies available. We suggest you bring materials to work with. If you will need equipment, we suggest that you email sroberts@warrenlib.org at least 24 hours in advance to make arrangements. We have items like a sewing machine, several di cutters, hand tools, knitting needles, and crochet hooks, etc.
